Ville d'Otium where the ancient Roman proprietors came to relax and enjoy the beauty of the location.

Even today you can enter the living rooms, the atriums, admire the sea and Vesuvius from the same windows they looked out of, walk on the same geometric, labyrinthine mosaics, surrounded by walls frescoed in red, yellow and blue, with butterflies, fantastic animals and mythological figures.

You will have the sense of reliving not so much the tragedy of the eruption, which here appears as a gentle dormancy, but life in its pleasure of body and soul.
